You are a power line that has to connect two lamps. All you have to do is rotate your line to connect the two lamps. If you find that the circuit is not completed, you have to tap on the wires to make it work.
You have to do this because there is an electric current flowing through the circuit. If you don't connect the two lamps, the current will not flow and the lights will not turn on.
